Gibraltar
Gibraltar is located in Southwestern Europe, bordering the Strait of Gibraltar,
on the southern coast of Spain.
Location of Gibraltar
Spain gained control of the land in the 1400's but lost it to Britain in the War of Spanish Succession in 1713. The land became an official British colony in 1830. Today Spain and Britain still have issues over the land.
