THE DIGITAL HB REFRACTOMETERSIMPLE, ACCURATE ANTI-ICING ADDITIVE CONCENTRATION MEASUREMENT

The HB visual refractometer is the original instrument used to obtain accurate anti-icing additive concentration measurement to ASTM D5006. We now introduce the latest technology, the HB/2D Digital Refractometer, truly a step ahead.

Using the same extraction apparatus and method, the new Digital HB/2D makes readings simpler because while it is still optical, it is not visual. Operator error is minimized and the test is faster. Not only that, but the HB/2D is even less expensive.

We offer the HB/2D alone or in a full D5006 kit, but if you have an old B/2 HB unit, you don’t need to buy the full kit, just use the old apparatus with the new instrument.

For those who prefer the old visual technology, we are not removing the visual unit from production, in case the demand for the visual unit continues.
