GAMMA-RAYASTROPHYSICS •DESY, Zeuthen location, is seeking:Postdocs (f/m) in Gamma-RayAstrophysics

DESYDESY is one of the world’s leading research centres for photon science,particle and astroparticle physics as well as accelerator physics.

The Zeuthen location of DESY has a strong focus on astroparticle physics,particularly gamma-ray and neutrino astronomy. The experimental groups areaccompanied by a strong astroparticle theory group.

The position• Active role in H.E.S.S. and CTA• Gamma-ray data analysis and interpretation within the institute’s

H.E.S.S. group• Preparing for science with CTA• Contribution to CTA preparation efforts matched to the institute’s CTA

programme

Requirements• Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or astroparticle physics• Experience in data analysis and interpretation, instrumentation and

R&D, or data acquisition in astroparticle physics, high-energy physics orastrophysics
