contexts.
Multiply simple fractions by whole numbers Calculate the simple percentage of quantities, add or subtract decimal numbers with different numbers of decimal places, and
calculate unit fractions of a number Simplify expressions involving grouping symbols, and apply the rules of order of operation Add or subtract simple fractions where one of the denominators is a multiple of another
Read and interpret timetables
Perform operations involving time units and use international time zones to compare times
Draw, read and interpret tables, charts and graphs (line, sector, travel, step, conversion, divided bar and dot plots)
Determine the properties of three-dimensional objects and investigate platonic solids
Construct three-dimensional models from drawings of different views
Ruler, pencil and protractor are required equipment for all ADEC mathematics examinations
A scientific calculator is an optional piece of equipment for this examination
Formula, where deemed necessary, will be included in the relevant question
