Double Decker Fudge
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter chips 1 cup semi – sweet chocolate chips 2 ¼ cups of sugar 1 ¾ cups ( 7 ounce jar ) marshmallow cream ¾ cups evaporated milk ¼ cup of butter/ margarine 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Steps: Measure peanut butter chips into one bowl and chocolate chips in
another ; set aside Butter 8 inch square pan ; set aside Combine sugar, marshmallow cream, evaporated milk, and butter in
heavy 3 quart sauce pan Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils;
continue for 5 minutes
Remove from heat ; pour in vanilla ; stir
Immediately stir half the hot mixture into peanut butter chips until completely melted
Quickly pour into prepared pan
Stir remaining hot mixture into semi – sweet chocolate chips until completely melted
Quickly spread over peanut butter layer ;cool
Cut into 1 inch squaresMakes about 4 dozen candies
