Executive Summary
₃ Strong, technically proficient team with almost 4 years of cumulated experience in the renewable energy sector ₃ Balanced blend of project management experience and solar energy technical expertise ₃ Involved in Solar projects development and implementation over 170 MW in Romania. ₃ Solid network of contacts in all Romanian institutions connected to renewable energy
sector ₃ Speciality technical background
₃ Strategy is to develop projects, ready to build for investors, construct and operate the solar farms.
₃ Professional team, including a technical consultant with a large experience, over 40 years concerning the Romanian energetic system; member of the management team of main important energetic companies.
Localization
₃ Will have an installed power of totally 16.3 MWp, being developed over a land of 36 ha; connection to national grid is 5km from site. The project is spitted into 2 projects one of 9 and one of 7.3 MW this allowing solution of connection on lower cost and shorter time to the 20KV line.
₃ The Project is developed near Bucuresti, 40 km distance.
₃ Access is assured through county road DN5
₃ The land is near the substation 20 KV/110 KV.
Land status
₃ The land is flat without shading areas.
₃ Total land surface is : 36 Ha.
₃ The land is the property of the company .
₃ The distance to the connection point is 5 km.
₃ Access road to Project location; No river across the land.
Obtained Licenses
₃ Urbanity planing certificated
₃ Topographic and geotechnical study.
₃ Environmental License
₃ Public health license
₃ Transelectrica / Enel opinion
₃ OCPI license.
₃ P.U.Z (urbanistic plan to change the destination of the land from agricola to industrial)
₃ DTAC. (The technical project for the construction needed to obtain the permit for construction)
Solar Data & Production
₃ Over 210 sunny days per annum and 1,154.4 kWh / m² / yearly solar flux energetic (average solar energy from solar radiation which is considered on incidental horizontal plan)
₃ Centre for Renewable Energy Sources-approved software used – Photovoltaic
Geographical Information Systems (PVGIS) .
₃ The figures are submitted in kWh (mp/year), in horizontal plan, the most used calculation method for energetic application.
₃ The solar map related for Giurgiu area is developed and offered by Energy Research Institute, Italy - entity under coordination of EU

Romania & Europe– Solar map
Tehnical proposed solution ₃ Fixed system technology. ₃ Polycrystalline-Silicon Cells, the best solution taking into consideration the PV surface project
and the equipment costs acquisition which offer a production yield of 15-17%.The power of the panel is 230 W from SwissWatt.
₃ Inverter Power One , SMA 500 TL. ₃ Aluminum fixed structure with the inclination of the pannel to the horizontal of
30º and azimuth 0º. ₃ Total annual output production: 16,3 MWh.
Opportunity Background
₃ Romania rated as the 3rd fastest growing country in the EU for gaining planning permission for wind turbine developments (according to European Wind Energy Association); After the coming into force of Renewable Energy Law it is expected a similar growth.
₃ For the next 2-3 years at least, the revenues from green energy projects (MWh price plus GC price) will be higher than the current price situation (no external market factors are
considered).
₃ Capacity power solar energy in Romania predicted to reach 1.2 TWh by 2020 (currently
the power installed is a little bit lower than 2GWh)
₃ Romania estimated to have a very high solar energy potential in Europe. Romania ranks 11th place in the 30 EU countries (included Turkey, Croatia and Macedonia) as a potential of global yearly irradiation, from horizontal & optimum angle and vertical mounting. The best positions are “occupied” by the south countries, like Turkey, Spain or Greece.
