Jim is a senior consultant with FMI, management consultants and investment bankers for the engineering and construction industry. He specializes in building profits by developing customized strategy and best-in class operations with his clients.
With more than a decade of experience as an Army Officer leading combat engineers and heavy equipment companies, Jim honed his leadership skills to successfully motivate operations in complex and challenging environments. He served across the spectrum of Armyoperations to include roles in strategic planning, training of large organizations and command with honors. After the Army, Jim refined these skills with a national builder, successfully integrating operations, sales and customer service.
Today, Jim is passionate about helping companies improve their businesses by applying practical experience and an in depth understanding of lasting behavioral change. He currently serves as Chapter President of the Florida West Coast Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) and is the Treasurer of the Florida Society ofAmerican Military Engineers. Jim earned a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a master of science in engineering management from the University of Missouri. In addition, he holds the Certifi ed EquipmentManager distinction (CEM).
