• How does a car fly?

• That the car will take lift

• We got 2 fans, 3 cars all different weights and 3 pieces of cardboard.

• We attached the cars to the cardboard and set the fans out.

• We lay the fans out on 2 chairs.

• We started them on high and then when the cars took lift we stabilised them. One car got about 1.5 metres high.

• Our heavy car will fly with a 62 cm piece of cardboard and a fan.

• Our medium weight car will fly with a 31 cm piece of cardboard and a fan.

• Our light car will fly with a 28 to 15 cm piece of cardboard and a fan.

Social action• We have decided to share the information

we found out with the junior and middle school.

• Children in this age group enjoy making paper planes and would be interested in the topic we choose.
