Flourish and Grow

Psalm 92:12-15 (RSV) The righteous flourish like the palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the

house of the LORD, they flourish in the courts of our God.

They still bring forth fruit in old age, they are ever full of sap and green, to show that the LORD is upright, he is

my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Psa 92:12 The righteous flourish, like the palm tree. . .

Flourish (Strongs) To break forth abundantly

Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus . . .

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the

profession of our faith without wavering.

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast

professed a good profession, before many witnesses.

Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people…

Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,

prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will

dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean

shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, . . . and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law

shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge

of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Psalm 92:12 The righteous, shall grow like a cedar, in Lebanon.

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus …

Isaiah 62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he

might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto

himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Luke 6:44 For every tree is known by his

own fruit. . . . A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good …

As the trunk forms the body of the tree, the new will of God controls, the earthly body, so that the New Creature can

grow and mature.

2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith, virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful, in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The promise, “if ye do these things, you will never fall” should be a great stimulus to our hope, of being transformed to the

image of God’s dear son.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.

A Tree Is Known By Its Fruits

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Psalm 103:8, 17 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy; . . . the mercy of

the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children.

Philippians 4:10-20 (NIV) I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. . . .

It was good of you to share in my troubles. . . . you sent me aid again and again, when I was in need. . . . .They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased

Hebrews 13:15-16 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
