Battle CardQuick Start Guide

BATTLE CARDS Battle Cards is an application available on the Navigator Portal. It is intended for use by the Johnson Controls sales

organization and authorized Sales Agents. Salespeople will be able to view Battle Cards for all brands they are authorized

to sell. Battle Cards is a Sales Enablement Tool which compares product-level details of Johnson Controls and competitors

in the form of a multi-page report. It focuses on the ultimate selling points and the competitive edge over other specific

competitors on details the customer cares about.

Login to Navigator

1. Type in below URL to access Navigator webs ite . https://www.hvacnavigator.com

2. Cl ick Login which appears in upper r ight -hand corner

3. Enter your login credentials .4. Enter your Sa lesforce ID, which is your emai l

address fol lowed by .hn. e .g . , John.G.Smith@jci .com.hn .

5. Enter your Sa lesforce password.6. Press Login.7. The Navigator porta l wi l l d isplay .

Access Battle Cards

1. Select Appl ications / Browse

2. Scrol l through the Browse Appl ications until you find Battle Cards and se lect the appl ication

Navigate the Battle Cards

1. You can navigate the Battle Card p latform using the left navigation menu

2. When Bui lding Automation is se lected, the menu us expanded

3. The second level of navigation is more specific. C l ick on the category of the Battle Cards you would l ike to see. In this case, you can use the pictures to select “Thermostats , Sensors , A irflow Measurement”

4. F ind the Battle Card you would l ike and c l ick the download button to open the file

5. The file is now open and avai lable for use

Search for a file

6. From the Battle Card Appl ication, Type in the word GLAS to find any Battle Cards re lated to GLAS thermostats

7. Any Battle Card re lated to the Battle Card appl ication wi l l be made avai lab le for se lection.

Make a Battle Card a Favorite

8. After you log into Navigator , Se lect Appl ications / Browse

Scroll through the Browse Applications until you find Battle Cards and select the star in the upper right corner of the application.

The next time you select the Dashboard from the Applications menu, you will see the Battle Card shortcut on listed as a favorite applications. You can also access it at any time from the Favorites menu.

Change Order of Favorite Application

9. To change the order of your favor i te appl ications, c l ick on the edit button above the “My Favor i te Appl ications”.

10. Move the appl ications into the order that you would l ike for them to appear in your “My Favori te Appl ications” be s imply moving the boxes in the order you would l ike for them to appear .

11. When you are finished, se lect the “Save” button

12. You can now see that the appl ication now appear in the order that the saved them.
