About EUEA
EUEA is an independent non-pro�t organization, an industry association open to all stakeholders in the Ukrainian Energy E�ciency (EE) and Renewable Energy (RE) sectors who want to work constructively with like-minded members to contribute to the gainful and transparent development of these markets in Ukraine, through the promotion of fair and sustainable business practice, raising public awareness of energy issues, and in�uencing government energy policy.
Established in November 2009, EUEA has grown into an e�ective advocate for the realization of Ukraine’s massive renewable energy and energy e�ciency potential, by working within Ukraine’s business community, government agencies, and with other key energy market stakeholders.
European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) unites well-known international and national Ukrainian investors with a total investment of over 3.5 billion Euros in renewable energy in Ukraine for the construction of over 2.7 GW of power plants from renewable sources, using the sun, wind and biomass. EUEA is a comprehensive information channel about important developments within the EE & RE sectors through press-conferences, press-lunches, expert opinions/interviews, publication of position papers, and regularly updated newsletters to the EUEA membership.
EUROPEAN-UKRAINIAN ENERGY DAY
EUEA has been organizing the European-Ukrainian Energy Day since 2010. This became a recognized annual event covering always up-to-date issues and aiming to provide practical input into the development of energy e�ciency and renewable energy markets in Ukraine.
CONFERENCES/ROUND TABLES. Trying to activate blocked or not well known business niches, which can bring positive economic and investment e�ect in the “green” energy vector EUEA prepares researches and arranges round tables inviting most relevant speakers, stakeholders to discuss economic and social impact, bankability, obstacles and tailor the roadmap to reach the goal.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
MEDIATION.Since the negotiations between the industry of renewable energy and Government of Ukraine for the sector stabilization were ine�cient and in December 2019 EUEA and other industry associations applied to Energy Community Secretariat to start the mediation process. So during seven months the mediation continued and the amount of complex policy solutions was developed which can stabilize the renewable energy and whole energy sector. So in June 2020 the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Energy, State Regulator, European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and Ukrainian Wind Energy Association. EUEA keeps monitoring the MoU implementation.
RAISING PUBLIC AND PROFESSIONAL AWARENESS. We keep informed EUEA members (40 companies) and subscribers of EUEA (about 7000 professionals in energy sector from Ukraine and other countries) with news, market updates, Ukrainian legislation and regulation framework, energy reforms, obligations of Ukraine under the international agreements, renewable energy and energy e�ciency statistics, we tightly communicate with mass media as respectable online periodic editions and TV channels with national broadcasting.
POLICY DIALOGUE. EUEA actively participates in working groups under the key stakeholders in energy sector for the energy policy regulation framework keeping the policy dialogue active. Under these activities, EUEA prepares analytics, statistics, international experience from EUEA members, which successfully implemented in their projects in di�erent sights of the world.

May 2019-May 2021 Smarter Finance for Families, 11 countries of Europe including Ukraine, �nanced by Horizon 2020 - EU �nancial Program. Promotion of the innovative �nancial instrument “Green” Mortgage to motivate citizens to buy sustainable building.
June 2016-November 2019Enhancing impact of civil society in monitoring and policy dialogue on energy and related sectors’ reforms in line with the Association Agreement implementation Ukraine, �nanced by European Union in the framework of the EU4Energy Initiative, International Renaissance Foundation.
INTERNATIONAL ENGAGEMENT
Since 2018, the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency actively participates at the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum as an expert and professional organisation in energy sector. Participation in the platform helps to communicate and exchange experience and knowledge with Forum 500-member organisations from Eastern Partnership region – which includes Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Belarus. International communication of civil society organisations is a strong instrument for dissemination of best European practices in di�erent sectors as well as in energy e�ciency and instruments which motivate citizens become energy e�cient. Work of Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum is organized in the format of working groups, and all organisations are divided concerning their professional orientation and goals. Organisations communicate by e-mails and at working group meetings.
