Esther plans a banquet for Haman. But he builds a gallows for

Mordecai

and is reminded of Mordecai’s good deed.

The King plans to honor Mordecai

and orders Haman to carry out the plan he thought was for himself.

III. Practical Lessons

Life can be hard

When it is, don’t turn away from God; turn to Him

God is sovereign

over all, even when life

doesn’t make sense

God is always present

God is always working when we are unaware

We should pray for protection, wisdom

and guidance

The purpose of His providence is to

reveal Himself as God!

The providence of God helps us trust

Him.

God has the power to weave all events for our

good and His glory.
