Remember: Adverbs answer the question:
• How? (suddenly, kindly)• When? (before, after)• Where? (above, below)• How Often? (always, never)
They describe adjectives, verbs, or other adverbs in a group
a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group
Example:
The man drove dangerously fast down the street.
HOW fast? - dangerously fast (it describes the adjective)
