Designed for Design Engineers
The Engineering Design Show launched in 2012 with the ambition of delivering a dedicated eventdesigned for design engineers, something that had been missing from the UK.
It was created with the aim of delivering 80 exhibitors and 1,000 design engineers over two days. Thefirst show sold out five months before the doors opened and delivered an audience of over 1,600design engineers and 100% of space resold on site for the 2013 event.
2013 sees the Engineering Design Show return with even more high-quality conference content, awider range of practical hands on workshops and exhibition space allowing for 150+ exhibitors.
This year will see the launch of Engineering Materials Live! – a dedicated section of the mainEngineering Design Show floor. This element of the show is intended to meet the increasing demandfrom design engineers for information on the latest materials and their applications.
The Engineering Design Show will be collocating with another Findlay Media design exhibition, theElectronics Design Show. With the increasingly multi-disciplined nature of design engineering placingthese two shows together adds significantly greater value for its visitors.
The combination of market-leading brands Eureka, New Electronics and Engineering Materials; theunrivalled quality of Findlay Media’s database; and the support of the UK’s key associations andbodies, means that the Engineering Design Show will provide suppliers and engineers alike with aunique opportunity to come together, learn, network and do business.
With 60% of the show floor already sold, the Engineering Design Show is THE opportunity for yourbusiness to reach design engineers.
We look forward to welcoming you at the event.
Ed Tranter, Executive Director

Design engineers understand the value ofpractical, hands-on workshop sessions. Theyalso value learning about the application ofnew technology through case studypresentations from leading technologyexperts. Together, these approaches allowengineering designers to improve the way theydesign, either through better use of existingtechnology or by applying new ideas andmethodologies.
The conference delivers 16 sessions overthe two days, including high-level keynotepresentations or panel discussions, on keythemes, topics and sectors with questions andanswers taken from the floor after eachpresentation.
The workshop programme has beencreated to provide 20 technical sessions overthe two days of the event providing designengineers with pratical hands-on learning.
While the conference and workshops are freefor visitors to attend, space is
limited for each session in orderto maximise the benefit topresenters and attendeesalike. Visitors are thereforerequired to pre-register foreach session.
