conference website for attendees to download and use as handouts. They will be 2 slides per page

• Your session will be recorded

During the question and answer portion, presenters must repeat the question if it was not asked into a mic to ensure that the question is recorded with the answer.

You will receive feedback from your audience about your presentation after the conference.

Use caution when incorporating software screen captures to your presentations; they are often difficult to read when shown on the larger session screens. If you do choose to include one, follow these best practices for screen capture and sharing:

4

Screen captures

• Screenshot should fill most of the slide• Take the screenshot on the highest

resolution possible on your computer. The screenshot should use a resolution in 4x3 aspect ratio and should be as high a pixel count as possible, for example, in 4x3 resolution, this would be 960x720 for 720 HD or 1440x1080 for full “1080” HD

• Instructions for capturing screenshots:o Windows – https://support.microsoft.com/en-

us/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots

o Mac – https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201361

• Screenshots should not include any PII or URLs from your institution that may be “live” and would work if someone used them while watching the recording. If you do have this, we suggest covering it up with a shape in powerpoint.

Best practices

• Include one high-resolution screenshot per slide

• Do not stretch or squeezeimage (hold down shift key when resizing to maintain proportions)

• Do not enlarge beyond 100%
