Before Dress

A 60’s styled, A-line silhouette dress that was recon-structed from a dress sold in St. Vincent de Paul thrift store was inspired by the rock song “Paint it Black” by the Rolling Stones. The dress is red with black piping at the style lines resembles the design of a front door, with a real doorknocker at the front yoke. The dress is
hand-painted black to fully render the song lyrics.
