1 The company of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.
2 KINGS 6:1-7
2 Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to meet.” And he said, “Go.”
2 KINGS 6:1-7
3 Then one of them said, “Won’t you please come with your servants?” “I will,” Elisha replied.
2 KINGS 6:1-7
4 And he went with them. They went to the Jordan and began to cut down trees.
2 KINGS 6:1-7
5 As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axhead fell into the water. “Oh no, my lord!” he cried out. “It was borrowed!”
2 KINGS 6:1-7
6 The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float.
2 KINGS 6:1-7
7 “Lift it out,” he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.
2 KINGS 6:1-7
You diligently
study the
Scriptures because
you think that by
them you possess
eternal life. These
are the Scriptures
that testify about
me
John 5:39
When you read the OT, you need to read it with
the understandi
ng.Its not just a
story
When you read the OT, you need to read it with the
understanding. It’s not just a story
It’s actually written how God works in the lives
of people
Because when we read the NT, it is always
Christ centered, so that we know who God is;
what has He done; His covenant with and
everything
1 The company of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.
2 KINGS 6:1-7
Transition (change, change over,
move, switch, conversion)
The people and Elisha was very
happy serving God; learning and growing and
maturing in the things of God
The bible says, they that walk with the Lord, they should go
from strength to strength.Because God wants you to
bring from one level of glory to another level of glory.
The growth is always going to
happen
But the most important thing that
we need to understand is “be sensitive for what God is doing.
And always ask this question… why do I feel in my heart that I need
to grow? I need to enlarge? Need to
expand? etc.
The most important thing issue here is not that God that want you to grow, but the most
important thing is why do you want to grow?
Selfish Level (This place is too
small for us)
They are not so grateful and not
happy
when God is going to do something in your life ,
you are there in the place where you are rejoicing, happy contented, growing
and there is a sense of excitement
CONCLUSION:
I want you to
understand that there
is a need in all of us
that
GOD KNOWS HOW TO
HELP YOU FIND
WHAT YOU DIDN’T MEAN
TO LOSE.
HOW
HAVE YOU LOST YOUR SPIRITUAL
EDGE?(perimeter,
hangganan boundary, ng buhay mo.)
HOW DO YOU GET YOUR EDGE
BACK?
BE HONEST ABOUT WHERE YOU LOST IT.
6 The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float.
2 KINGS 6:6
WITH GOD’S HELP, TAKE BACK WHAT YOU

2 KINGS 6:7
4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.
