KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL ENERGIZER INSTALLATION

Take care of the following details and you will prevent many hours of extra work.

1. Usethecorrectsizeenergizer.Itisbesttoselectanenergizerthatwilladequately power the most difficult fence conditions. This generallyoccursduringthepeakgrowingseason.

2. Carefullyinstallacompletegroundsystem.Mostelectricfencefailuresarecausedbyanimpropergroundsystem(seeDiagram#1,pg.12).

3. Taketimetoproperlyconnect leadoutwire,groundwireandfencelinesplices.Thisisthesecondmostcommoncauseofelectricfencefailure.Useclamps,splitboltsandtapsforsecuringwireconnections.Makesureallconnectionsurfacesareofbare,shinymetal(seeWireSpliceandCon-nectionsDiagram,pg.22).
