EDITING DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
PHOTOS

Photo 1 – edited
Photo 1 – edited Firstly, I have cropped the image to try and eliminate the unwanted background.
Photo 1 – edited I then used the clone tool on PicMonkey, to eliminate the wires on the floor and the window ledge, which had previously took attention away from my main image.
Photo 1 – edited The final thing I did was add effects. The first effect I added was called ‘intrepid’ and it caused the lighting to be more dramatic. Then I also added the ‘spotlight’ effect, which put the main emphasis of light on Hayley, and created more dramatic shadows around her. I liked this, as it draws the readers attention to her as the main image.

Photo 2 – edited The first thing I did was crop the image get rid of the wasted background space, and focus more on Hayley.

I then added effects to make the lighting more dramatic as well as softening the colours.

Photo 3 – edited As before, the first thing I did was crop the image, to eliminate wasted background space, and get a greater focus on Hayley.

I then have added the same effects as photo 2. This has again made the lighting more dramatic and has added a softer tone to the colours.

Photo 4 – edited
Photo 4 – edited I have started by cropping the image, to get a medium-close shot of her face, focusing more on her expression.
Photo 4 – edited
I then added the same two effects again. Creating softer, lighter colours, and more dramatic lighting.
Photo 4 – edited I decided I would use this image as an advert for her new album. So in Photoshop, I have added text for the title of the album and her name.
