Deep Joshi is an Indian social worker and NGO activist. He is recognized for his leadership in bringing professionalism to the NGO movement in India. He co-founded a non-profit organization, Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN) of which he was the Executive Director till 2007. He was awarded the 2009 Magsasay award for Community Leadership for his work for "development of rural communities". He is also a recipient of the civilian honor of Padma Shree.
Satyabrata Acharya , Satyabrata comes with over 24 years’ experience of promoting grassroots actions, integrating operations across several project locations in the State of Jharkhand and policy formulation for State and Union Ministries in India.. Satyabrata is an Expert Member, Steering Group under Department of Biotechnology . Besides this he is on various committees of Jharkhand.
Anish Kumar Anish has been at the forefront of Transform Rural India initiatives. As a leadership member of Pradan, Anish developed and piloted the “Small Holder Poultry model” .which currently has a revenue of 56m USD and is run entirely by the poor people of Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand He is also the member of the Planning Commission Working Group on disadvantaged farmers .
Khitish Pandya has been involved with the textile wing of PRADAN’ since 2000. He was brought in to build the business side the silk yarn making project initiated by PRADAN. As a social entrepreneur, he strongly believes that providing right economic opportunities to the poor in their own locale and also by helping enhance their capacity to avail such opportunities is a more inclusive and sustainable way of poverty alleviation.
