Event JUNK MADE at the

ZOO

JUNK MADE details:

What: junk art (eco-art) exposition

When: Saturday, May 17th 2008, from 11:00 through 17:00

Where: the pony pen at the ZOO

Program: • artists showing works of art made prior to the event

(sections: paper, plastic, glass, aluminum, iron)

• team-competition: 6 artists make junk-art on the spot

• public involvement: we invite audience members to compete

Prizes:

a junk-trophy (or eco-trophy) would be suiting

obviously, we tried it first…

we gave eco - fashion a shot too

yep.. we really tried..

WE NEED ARTISTS!Otherwise, we don’t have an exposition!

* Creative requests for JUNK MADE: Execution: radio spot, print, web banner web and unconventional (cardboards to

expose throughout the ZOO, with emphasis on both economical and ecological materials - we ECOLOMISE)

Please try to avoid the following aspects (sensitive topics inside the ZOO):

• BEARS (cage too small)• OSTRAGES and other HERBIVORES• FOXES (they were moved because of the smell)

We encourage you to focus on these aspects (strong aspects of the ZOO):

• LIONS (new den), TIGERS and WOLVES• MONKEYS and the CHIMPANZEE• SNAKES and FISH• PELICANS and FLAMINGOS
