• click three times to place target and sun

number works best

USING THE FARM

net render• uses remote machines• best for animations• there are 80 machines currently• generally overnight

step 1: link to shared folderSearch: “run”Type \\10.20.20.7\Render Files

drag backburner folder to your desktop• in needed, Login name should be

“eclabs\backburner“• the password is “render”

step 2: specify output file

file location• double-click on the farm link• make folder for yourself• name file• specity file type

step 3: check Net Render

step 4: click Renderon 2013, find sub-menu on Render Setup

step 5: connect to server

step 6: enable notifications

put in your email address

step 7: submit

step 8: submit, and wait• single rendering may be slower than

your computer• you’ll get an email when it’s done (or

failed)
