Natalie’s News
School has started! And you know what else has started- football season.
It’s one of those things that brings together the entire school. Odessa Permian, the school Friday
Night Lights is based on, regularly plays (and loses) to San Angelo Central. Could you imagine if Key Club was broadcasted like football? We’d have posters of club officers in intimidating poses
hanging up around school, a play-by-play of each service project on the radio, and 17,000 people
cheering for us each night.
Key Club isn’t exactly football. But it does teach teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and goal
setting. It’s an adrenaline rush in a different sense. I hope your members are excited as spectator at a
football game for your upcoming year!
