Natalie’s News

School has started! And you know what else has started- football season.

It’s one of those things that brings together the entire school. Odessa Permian, the school Friday

Night Lights is based on, regularly plays (and loses) to San Angelo Central. Could you imagine if Key Club was broadcasted like football? We’d have posters of club officers in intimidating poses

hanging up around school, a play-by-play of each service project on the radio, and 17,000 people

cheering for us each night.

Key Club isn’t exactly football. But it does teach teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and goal

setting. It’s an adrenaline rush in a different sense. I hope your members are excited as spectator at a

football game for your upcoming year!

Membership Update Center

It’s the time of year again!

Time to pay your dues!

The Membership Update Center is open

September 3rd to December 1st.

Pay your dues by November 1st to be an “Early Bird”

and get extra points on your monthly report.

I have attached instructions on how to use the MUC

on my monthly email. If you need help, please

contact me, Regional Advisor Rudy Barron, or District

Treasurer Colin Gonzalez.

While you’re on the district website, be sure to update

your Club Officer Contact Info (COCI) as well.

must raise to eliminate MNT.

2015 --- The year that we must raise this money

by. $1.80 --- The amount it costs to vaccinate one

mother and her future babies.

61 million --- The number of lives we will help

save or protect if we meet our goal.

The Task Of The Month for the month of July is:

Take a picture as a group of a service project, social, or event you did this month and include it in the report.

What: Kiwanis International’s leadership education program

whose mission is to provide a life-changing experience that

inspires young people to achieve their personal best through

service leadership. Key Leader is a three day camp full of

bonding time, outdoor activities, and a chance to learn

more about service.
