Dashi Namdakov,(born 1967), is a Russian sculptor, graphic artist and jeweler, member of the Russian Union of Artist, corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts

2008Received the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts’ “Nika” award for Best Costume design in the film Mongol (directed by Sergey Bodrov, Sr.)

2009Awarded the 2009 State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of culture for the exhibition project Transformation: Sculpture, Graphics and Jewellery of Dashi Namdakov

2012Awarded the State Prize of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia in the field of the Fine Art for the sculpture composition “Little Buddha”.

2013Awarded the Order of Mongolia "the Polar Star" for many years of fruitful work in the development of the Buryat-Mongolian cooperation in the field of culture and arts.

Awarded the title of the main sculptor at the International Award Ceremony "Pietrasanta and Versilia in the World", Italy.
