NEW DELHI, July 10:Tata Motors today said it has

bagged an order for supplying1,200 multi-axle trucks to theIndian Army.

It is the single largest order

awarded to an Indian companyin land systems by the Indianarmy and comprises 1,200 unitsof high-mobility 6X6 multi-axletrucks, Tata Motors said in astatement.

The trucks will be used forloading-unloading and trans-portation of ammunition pallets,spares and other operationalequipment, it added. (PTI)
