6. Controller Initiated Routes Service

• Initial S1P2 Includes uplinks including proceed direct to position, route

clearance, or procedure, and related cause (traffic, airspace restriction)

Entry via keyboard entry from the R and RA positions Entry via route menu from RA position

• Full S1P2 Adds uplinks including proceed back on route, rejoin route

by time/position, holding at position, report back on route Adds downlinks for pilot to request procedure name,

request route clearance, and report back on route Entry via Trackball entry from the R and RA positions

• RA entry is via the Graphic Plan Display Entry via Route menu from R position

9. Crossing Restrictions Service• Initial S1P2

Limited crossing restrictions at a specific fix, at a specific altitude with or without a specific speed

Entry of named fixes via the keyboard at the R- and RA positions A menu based capability is needed for the entry of crossing

restrictions. These would be preset restrictions, defined in adaptation

• Full S1P2 Adds ability to instruct an aircraft to cross a specific fix at a specific

time FLM will be able to define these preset restrictions Controller will be able to enter a crossing a point that is a point in

space (lat/long) rather than a named fix R-Position will have the option of entering crossing restrictions via

the trackball or data block interaction.
