CSULA/UCLA – unique program started in 1969, prepares leaders for the field of special education
Year 1 - CSULA in-depth courses in special education research and law research experience teaching activities
Years 2 – 4 – UCLA ongoing research practicum in-depth courses in research methods and in substantive
areas in human development and psychology. While at UCLA, students maintain contact with the
CSULA coordinator and faculty, and include faculty from both CSULA and UCLA on their qualifying examination and dissertation committees.
