CribMaster software can be originally deployed in one of two different methods.

1. CribMaster Full Installation (Not Shared)

2. CribMaster Advantage Installation (Shared)

CribMaster Software Deployment

CribMaster software is installed so that the database is used for a specific customer.

The database is protected within the specific customers network.

Data communication is usually transported using a standard SQL Server connection. aka: ADO

Usually the customer is responsible for CribMaster administration, not a distributor.

Full CribMaster Configuration

The Database Server stores only data related to a single customer.

CribMaster Advantage is a CribMaster vending solution designed with the Distributor in mind.

Multiple customer data is maintained within the same database. This gives the distributor flexible control.

All data communication is transported through a Web Service (Internet).

Recommended Bandwidth (Customer/ATR)Upload and Download Approximately 1.0mb – 1.5mb

Recommended Bandwidth (Distributor)Upload and Download Approximately - T1 or greater Latency is a factor, Number of Hops, Customer’s Internet Connection, the processing power of the web server and the SQL Server.

NOTE - CribMaster can not make bandwidth recommendations because we can’t know the distributor’s network environment.

Bandwidth Checker:Used to test data communication speed.

There are many web sites on the internet with a bandwidthchecker built in. These sites are not developed or maintainedby CribMaster. These sites are usually trustworthy yet use at your own risk. Some customer networks may block these sites.

Minimum bandwidth speed is 1Mb (or greater) upload and 1Mb (orgreater) download speeds. Recommended bandwidth speed is 1.5Mb(or greater) upload and 1.5Mb (or greater) download speeds.
