You Can Get Hurt If You Don’t…

Know what the alarm sounds like

Know where all the exits are

Press the kill switch

Use the fire extinguisher correctly

Be Alert For Alarms

React immediately when someone yells “Fire!” in the workplace

Listen for the shrill sound of the main alarm

Look for the flashing lights of the back-up alarm system

Follow the directions from public address system announcement

If Time Permits, Turn Off Your Equipment

Evacuate the building

It is large and uncontrolled

Your escape route is threatened

You’re not sure if you have the proper fire extinguisher
