Con-sid-er the lil-ies and how they grow,

Verse 1 of 4

For they nev-er toil or spin you know,

Verse 1 of 4

Yet Sol-o-mon in all his fin-er-y

Verse 1 of 4

Was nev-er ar-rayed like one of these.

Verse 1 of 4

And look at the ra-vens up in the air,

Verse 2 of 4

For they nev-er sow or gath-er there,

Verse 2 of 4

Yet your Fa-ther feeds them from day to day.

Verse 2 of 4

Are you not of far more worth than they?

Verse 2 of 4

If God clothes the grass of the field this way,

Verse 3 of 4

Which lives and which dies in a sin-gle day,

Verse 3 of 4

If God feeds the birds of the heav-ens, too,

Verse 3 of 4

Will He not do e-ven more for you?

Verse 3 of 4

So there-fore I say, take no anx-ious care,

Verse 4 of 4

For what you shall eat and what you shall wear,

Verse 4 of 4

But seek first God's king-dom and righ-teous-ness,

Verse 4 of 4

And with all these things you shall be blessed.
