Care Network Cambridgeshire is a charity providing help for older, isolated and vulnerable people living in Cambridgeshire - enabling them to remain independent and maintain social contact with friends and the community.

Is it local?We cover all of Cambridgeshire with bases in: Cambridge City, South Cambridgeshire, East Cambridgeshire, Fenland and Huntingdonshire.

Is it free?Yes! Yes! You could

• Keep a stock of leaflets to let people know about Community Navigators

• Join our reading panel to check our communications (including easy read and large print)

• Invite us to talk about our service.By linking with us, you are helping people connect to a much wider range of services that can benefit every area of their life. Together, we can help people stay healthy, happy and independent for longer.

How does it work? Who is eligible?You must be 18 or over but there is no upper age limit.

We can help if you are 18+ and affected by

• Learning disability• Physical disability• Sensory impairment • Mental health needs• HIV/Aids.

We also support older people and family carers.

Can my organisation help?

You can contact us directly (details overleaf) or be referred via another agency.

You may want to know about services that you need or activities you want to get involved with. Our job is to find out what is available, not to advise you what to do; it’s your choice and we are here to help.

We will match you with a local volunteer who has been police-checked and trained. They can meet you in your home, locally or at a drop -in session. Things become much clearer over a cup of tea!

We provide information for you to choose how best to maintain your independence.
