Today, we’re going to compare and contrast students in your classroom using a Venn Diagram.

Compare & Contrast Activity: Interview two students in your classroom and compare and contrast them using a Venn Diagram.

Here’s a few tips for helping you to compare & contrast things.

Pay attention to the facts & details.

LOOK for CLUE WORDS.

To compare, look for words that signal a likeness such as …….

To contrast, look for words that signal a difference such as …….

Look for people, places, objects, and events that are being compared and

contrasted.

Ask yourself what’s being compared.

Now, let’s use what we’ve learned to help us compare and contrast .
