government authorities creates safer environment

and improves security in communities

102,783 citizens in Batken, Osh

and Jalal-Abad provinces have

an opportunity to participate

actively in joint community

security provision

1,556 community members trained in community

policing and more than 30 local initiatives were

supported to address community security issues, such

as radicalization leading to violent extremism, domestic

violence, gender inequality, early marriages, bride

kidnapping, and improving police-public cooperation

More than 100 police officers took part in community

policing trainings, and now actively engage with

communities to improve security

Renovated Local Crime Prevention Centers in 19

municipalities coordinate interaction between

communities, law enforcement agencies and local

authorities to ensure better security for communities

Citizens in 19 communities work together with

Neighbourhood Police Inspectors in crime prevention and

solving local security issues.

95 youth and women leaders engaged actively in

community policing campaigns address security concerns

of vulnerable groups, including women, youth and ethnic

minorities.
