YI yuva-chaupal and social club of CDGI initiated an event CLEAN INDIA CAMPAIGN at Datoda village, Indore our aim is to aware the local folks of the village towards cleanliness and hygiene. Before the actual drive we conducted some surveys across the village to check the on ground problems after completing all the surveys we will be conducting a day long drive in which we will be cleaning the streets, school campus and we will conduct some awareness campaign such as seminars, ppt motivational documentaries in front of school students.
SURVEY SUMMARY:
We visited three govt. schools (Primary, secondary, higher secondary) at village Datoda (Distt. Mhow). Following was observed during the visit-
Non-Availability of Potable water.
No Dustbins inside school campus.
Non-Availability Furniture in classrooms.
Absence of taps/flush inside school toilets.
Primary school students were not wearing footwears.
The school campus is not properly clean.
The main market of the village is in a filthy condition.
The temple near Lalghati road is surrounded by garbage.
Action plan:
On the D-Day we plan to visit the village with the group of 30 students and some faculty members. We will be cleaning the identified places with awareness campaign across the schools and the main market. The awareness campaign will be accomplished in following ways.
Seminars and ppts on the following topics.
Cleanliness and hygiene
Woman empowerment and education
Standard process to wash your hands
Sanitary Facilities for Woman
Motivational videos on the above topics
Skit or nukkad natak.
Handmade Posters and flexes for awareness campaign.
