Seniors Meetings

▶ Transcripts were provided to seniors last week.

▶ Counselors met with Seniors through their English class last month. They also received their Bright Futures Transcript.

▶ Several opportunities have been scheduled for students who are dual-enrolled or do not have an English class on campus.

▶ If your child has not met with their counselor and does not have an English class on campus, please have your child email their counselor.

Advance Placement (AP) Versus Dual Enrollment▶ Students have the opportunity to take highly rigorous courses

depending on their goals for college.

▶ In - state consider a mix of dual enrollment and AP

▶ Out-of-state consider AP courses

▶ WHS has over 30 AP courses offered. Over half of our students are in at least one AP course.

▶ 350 students that attend Valencia, UF and/or UCF for dual Enrollment. 569 courses are being taken at the college level.

▶ 30 students are taking 165 CTE courses at our technical college.

▶ All seniors will have the opportunity to take another FREE SAT in October 16th.

▶ Tests scores will no longer show on students transcripts. They must have SAT and ACT scores sent directly to the colleges from each entity.
