The Chubb AFx™ PLUS series of Liquid CrystalDisplay keypad allows authorized users to interactwiththesecuritysystemlocally.Thisincludesarmingand disarming of areas, checking system and areastatus,extendingascheduleclosingtime(worklate),locking and unlocking doors and other commandsconsistentwiththeirsystemprivileges.

LCDPLUSkeypadsarealsoavailableinversionsthatsupport intrusion / access commands via accesstokens:oneincludesabuilt-inGProxIIreadercircuit(forusewithGProxIItokens).Theotherincorporatesa Weigand input that allows interfacing of existentreaderswiththeChubbAFx,makingitunnecessarytoreplaceusertokensonthesite.

10PROGRAMMABLEFUNCTIONS

Upto10programmablefunctionscanbeprogrammedfor each area. Function keys can be programmedto trigger outputs such that they toggle with eachactivation,ortheycanbeprogrammedtotriggerforafixedperiodoftime.

INPUTS/OUTPUTS

Each keypad has four hard-wire input points fordirect connectionof securitydevices (two inputsontheWeigandinputmodels).Thekeypadalsohasoneoutput point which can be programmed to triggeron one of over 120 multiple criteria system eventtriggers.

CONVENIENCEANDSAFETY

Manysystemconveniencefeaturesareprovidedsuchasanoptionaldoorchimetosoundwhenadoororwindowhasbeenopened.Safetyfeaturesincludeuptothreepanicbuttons,whichcanbeconfiguredtosuittheapplication(typicallyfire,policeandemergency).Thesebuttonsreporttothecentralmonitoringstationforappropriateactionwhenactivated.
