The organizations are required to submit in HARD & SOFT copies of the following:

1.the FINAL draft design of tarpaulins which will be printed

by the RecWeek Team.

(Specifications: 3 ft x 2 ft Horizontal; 150-120 dpi)

2.the DETAILED list of promotional strategies (distribution of

freebies, chalk/text brigades, etc.);

3.the official EMAILER content to be circulated in the Web;

Only one table tarpaulin will be provided by the RecWeek team, the design on which should be the ORG LOGO and NAME.

In addition to this tarpaulin, there can only be a maximum of 2 more promotional materials. (ex. Org tarp, org mascot) that each organization will have to produce themselves.

APPLICATION FEESNot more than Php100.

BONDSBonds are contracts made between the

organizations and the Recruitment Week Team. For this year’s Recruitment Week, a bond is valued at Php500.00.

It shall be returned to the organization the Friday after Recweek 2009 (July 3, 2009). Bonds may be claimed from the COA Room (MVP 205), from the Recweek Finance Head.

1. Bond of Php500.00 to be paid on June 15-19, 2009 at the

COA Room to the Finance Head.

2. Failure to pay the bonds will mean that your

organization shall not be allowed to participate in the

Recweek 2009.

3. Upon payment, the organization signs a bond contract and

receives a bond receipt.

4. During the Recruitment Week, every organization will have

a sanction sheet where their violations will be listed. Any

violation will have a corresponding deduction to the bond

held by the offending organization.

5. Failure to get the bonds back will mean forfeiture of

the right to redeem them.

•In cases of a negative balance:

• Pay that balance on June 29-30, 2009 (Monday -

Tuesday) at the COA Room to the Finance Head.

• Leaving their booth cluttered and unattended for 2

days gives the Recruitment Week Head the right to

refrain the organization from opening its booth for the

rest of the week.

• Only the RecWeek Head can order the closing of a

booth.

Minor Violations

The following violations warrant a Php50.00 deduction from an

organization’s bond:

1. Failure to open the booth by 9:00am

2. Having more equipment than what has previously specified in the

list that it submitted to the Logistics of the Recruitment Week

Team

3. Failure to hand in the organization’s daily report by 11:59pm

the next day (e.g. Organization X fails to pass its Monday ‘s

recruitment by Tuesday 11:59pm)

4. Failure to pass the requirements for Recweek (e.g. Org reps,

manual write-ups, promo materials)

5. Delaying the flow of the program (e.g. Being the late for the

parade)

• Major Violations

• The following violations warrant a Php100.00 deduction from an

organization’s bond:

1. Failure to maintain the cleanliness of the booth and the 1-

meter radius surrounding it.

2. Leaving the booth unattended.

3. Failure to close the booth by 5:00pm.

4. Failure to log-in and log-out IDs for a day.

5. Using promo materials other than what was approved.

*note: The RecWeek Team reserves the right to remove any

promotional materials that have not been approved by the

Promotions of the Recruitment Week or by the Office of

Student Activities.

6. Sending email blasts not yet approved by the RecWeek Team.

7. Failure to submit the organization’s shifting schedule for the

Recruitment Week by June 22, 2009 (Monday) 11:59pm.

8. Failure to hand in the organization’s daily report by 11:59pm

two days later (e.g. . Organization X fails to pass its Monday

‘s recruitment by Wednesday 11:59pm).

9. Displaying tarps beyond the specified space for promotions

(3rd time).

10.Distributing flyers inside and outside the RecWeek Venue.

11.Disrupting classes/offices or being reprimanded because of

rowdy or noisy promotions.
