Conducted an independent study of our compensation package for staff

Supported management’s effort to promote professional development, family friendly practices, office environment and health and wellness initiatives and succession planning

Ensured our government and stakeholder committees have a cross section of members

Work towards ensuring a full slate of candidates for the upcoming bi-annual election

It has been challenging to work within a Federation that in recent years has created division rather than unity

Our members’ interest in Ontario are secure and we look to create a new national partnership

Commissioner̶@ OACETT treated the same as the 38 regulated professions̶@ Audit results were very positive

Rationalization of titles completed, reducing number of associate categories and aligning titles with college program accreditation requirements

IETO rules completed, maintenance required annually

940 members certified in 2009 – highest ever!

8 college programs accredited, bringing Ontario’s total to 50 active – the most in Canada!
