1987/10/03 Unlike main stream artist’s works, I will not make myself to create series pieces intentionally. Using fragment of time to work, I create without too many reasons behind it. I chose the subject that I felt interested and combining different elements. My goal is to create dramatic tension in the scene with characterized technique, add or delete some meaning or meaningless elements for overall presentation. The common theme elements are ordinarily animals such as pig, dog and chicken, especially animals which are often served on the kitchen table. I believe one’s art technique is just like one’s hand writing, which shows a person’s personality, and I’m endeavor to ’write’ well the picture in my head to the public.
