Adding Grade ItemCDX Medium Heavy

Log in with your teacher account that you were given.

Open the course that you wish to add the grade item to.

After opening the course, open the gradebook:

In the dropdown menu in the upper left of the gradebook, select Categories and Items:

On the bottom of this page, select Add Grade Item:

Enter a name, and change any other criteria. Click the (?) for more information. Click Save Changes.

Click the small icon to the far left, to move the Grade Item you added. Click Save Changes when done.

Now, head back to the Grader report. This is the main report you normally see.

You will now see your new item. If you moved it to the top of the list, it’s the first item.

To change you students’ grades. Click the small Pencil (edit icon) next to it:

Add grades and feedback, and click Save.

Head back to the Grader Report, and you will now see your Grade Item, and the grades you just added.
