Crack on underside of top flange The 26” long crack has gapped 1/4” to 5/16” wide

Top flange has been machined to accept 3 sets (6 locks) ranging from 8” to 22” long & 2” to 6 1/2” wide & 1 1/2” thick

Exterior metal locking on 36” of crack on upper flange

18 ft. dia. shrink ring prefabricated in Reynolds-French shop ready to lift (Two used)

Shrink ring being positioned on top of crusher approx. 40 feet high

Note the tapped holes in the steel ring where jack bolts will be torqued after positioning ring

This shows both steel shrink rings installed to take seismic loadingNote cap over jack bolts torqued so bolts will not back off during vibration of operation

Locks installed on top surface & crack repaired with 1 1/8” stitching bolts Chockfast Orange poured between ring and casting

8” locks, 2” thick on exterior and cracks stitched with 9/16” bolts Note all materials were furnished by Reynolds-French
