The majority of Cambodians follow Theravada Buddhism.
"Karma" is the term used to describe this - i.e. if you do good you will have good karma.
Theravada Buddhism has the following principles: - Be honest. - Have the right thoughts. - Speak the right words. - Perform the right deeds. - Have the right thoughts - Be intellectually alert.
Common Cambodian chronic social diseases : Status and classes (rich and poor), Power differences , Fears ,Lack of trust , Lack of self-confidence , Corruption, Violence, Egoistic, Resistance to change, jealousy, Short-term thinking ,Not valuing Cambodians.

Meetings do not stick to any schedule or agenda. At the beginning of meetings small talk should always be employed. If Cambodians disagree with an idea of other, they generally remain silent. In a Cambodian culture, punctuality is most important. Non-verbal behavior is just as important to be aware of. For example, smiling in Cambodia can have many meanings; it may mean a person is nervous or he does not understand what has been said. Avoid prolonged eye contact. Emotions is considered a negative behavior.
