1. Fair and stable price for producers eg farmers2. Premium to invest in community or business3. Social conditions for workers4. Environmental conditions such as:

– Protection of natural resources– No genetically modified organisms– Work towards organic if possible– Minimize chemical fertilizers and insecticides – Aim biological methods of disease control– Disposal of waste

1. Council commitment: resolutions, procurement policies, stalls, support to Brent Fairtrade Network

2. 147 shops and 24 cafés sell 2+ Fairtrade products3. Local organizations support Fairtrade:– North West London Hospitals NHS Trust – 29 faith groups, 22 schools, University of Westminster– Community groups eg BSF and its Members!
