In the rural areas of many developing countries, women and children are not able to acquire primary education because they are required to provide water each day to their family or village.

In Louisburgh our water supply comes from the Bunowen River. The water comes from upstream and is treated before it reaches our taps. Our waste water goes into the Bunowen River downstream after going through the waste water treatment plant.
