We have added an
LCD screen at the
entrance to the
library in order to
highlight various
activities in the

We have upgraded
our computer

Two high quality
scanners have
been added for
student use.

been redesigned.
We have opened
the Beta version of
the new interface
of the library
catalog: HUFind.

Periodicals Department The number of shelves for
current periodicals has
been reduced and in their
place we have added more
tables and comfortable
chairs for our readers.
Circulation Department In cooperation with the
Dean of Students, the de-
partment has begun to lend
out cellular modems for the
use of students who are
called up to the IDF Re-
serves.
The department also has
begun to lend other equip-
ment for the benefit of our
readers: calculators, elec-
tronic dictionaries, e-book
readers, keyboards in vari-
ous languages and mice.
This summer the Reserve
Book Collection circulation
status has been was
changed to all-day circula-
tion (rather than just over-
night).
The Rare Book Collection
that was in a closed room
on the fifth floor has been
moved to the Circulation
Department. Rare books
can be borrowed and read
in the library during all of
the library's opening hours.
