Magnification Works

Patients with Macular Degeneration are great candidates for magnification

Magnification makes objects big enough to allow patients to “get around” blind spots

Magnification Works If a patient’s blind spot is large enough to block

an object the patient will not see it

If that same object is magnified so that it is larger than the blind spot, the brain is able to fill in the missing information as if blind spot isn’t there
