Renate is the former coordinator and lead instructor for the College Success Program at Bow Valley College in Calgary, Alberta. She has over 20 years experience as a facilitator and educator in the human potential field. A powerful and inspiring speaker, Renate has worked with individuals and teams in Canada and the United States.
Renate took her first coaching training in the winter of 2003 and has been coaching in some capacity ever since. She is a Certified Executive Coach from Royal Roads University, and active member of the International Coach Federation™ (ICF). She is currently completing an additional certification in Integral Coaching through Integral Coaching Canada™, the only integral coaching program officially recognized by the Integral Institute™.
In addition, she is a Clinical Hypnotherapist certified through the International Medical Dental Hypnotherapy Association™ (IMDHA). Her expertise is in using hypnotherapy for personal and professional development. She firmly believes that top athletes have coaches and hypnotherapists—so should top leaders and professionals.
In 2010, Renate founded Emergence Hypnotherapy and Coaching, an organization dedicated to supporting leaders, companies, teams and individuals develop the mental aptitude they need. A true educator, Renate says she is willing to share everything she ever learned about anything to anyone who can sit still (and stay awake) long enough.
