2008 Submitted proposal and directed two presentations for CMU methods students at Michigan World Language Association’s (MiWLA) annual Conference ( “Central Corner: The New Era in Grammar.”) Steve Myer and Andrea Thomas  

2006 Session entitled “Using Power Point to Teach Grammar” and “Articulation IN the Classroom.” Student presenters: Melissa Malwilai, Kate Casper, Emily Martin, Sandra Rousseau.

2004 The presentation was entitled “Central Corner: Teaching with Technology,” Student presenters: Scott Scalici, Alli Nash, Wendy Stillson, Jamie Cartier.

  2003 Two sessions entitled: “Central Corner: Creating Lessons to

Build Bridges to Other Cultures.” (The two presentations placed 3rd and 4th in the evaluations of almost 80 presentations and were the only student entries.) Presenters:, Niki Battjes, Heidi Bennett, Jennifer De Witt, Beth Dorman, Scott Farver, Lauren Ginnard, Amber Kasic, Carrie Lachniet, Kim Whitney

  1996 Session title: "Interactive Warm-up Activities."

(Presenters (10) were CMU 411 methods students. This presentation won the Best Presentation of the conference.)

1995 Organized a presentation at the Michigan Foreign Language Association for the CMU summer K-12 workshop participants. "From Caterpillars to Butterflies".
