Australian life in 22 prize-winning photographs

From Indigenous cowboys and football matches to Sydney sunbathers and pieshops, the photographs shortlisted for the 2014 Australian Life prize showcase a nation in technicolour – and transition. Top prize went to Georgina Pope’s wry snap of a New South Wales washing line. All 22 winning images go on display in Hyde Park, Sydney until 12 October
