• Born in 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.• Sick as a child, Warhol drew pictures in bed.• Studied commercial art at Carnegie Institute of Technology. • After graduating Warhol moved to New York City.• Warhol began illustrating for magazines and creating advertisements. • Warhol died in 1987 of a heart attack.
